This 4 Days Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari combines two of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Explore Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and birdlife, before continuing to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration. This safari offers an excellent opportunity to experience diverse landscapes, abundant wildlife, and unforgettable game viewing in a short period.

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and begin the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at a scenic viewpoint for photographs. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the park. Search for white rhinos, black rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas, and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. The park is also home to lions and leopards, making it one of Kenya’s best wildlife destinations.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive towards the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Travel through the scenic landscapes of the Rift Valley and Narok County before arriving at the reserve in time for lunch.

After checking into your lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains of the Masai Mara. Search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous antelope species.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full day exploring the reserve.

During the migration season, witness large herds of wildebeests and zebras moving through the reserve while predators follow closely behind.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive as the sun rises over the Masai Mara.

This is one of the best times to spot predators and capture memorable photographs of the African wilderness.

Begin the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
