Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi. Travel through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic viewpoint for breathtaking photographs of the escarpment and surrounding landscapes.

Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, famous for its thriving rhino population and diverse wildlife.

Look out for white rhinos, black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and numerous bird species. The park also provides opportunities to spot lions and leopards.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

Drive through Kenya’s picturesque countryside and arrive at the reserve in time for lunch. After settling into your lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah plains.

Search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other wildlife species that make the Mara one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full day exploring the reserve.

Visit different areas of the Masai Mara while searching for the Big Five and numerous other wildlife species. The reserve supports one of the highest concentrations of predators in Africa, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.

Visit the famous Mara River where hippos and crocodiles are commonly seen. During the migration season, thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the river in one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with your afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Full Day Masai Mara Adventure

Spend another full day exploring the incredible Masai Mara ecosystem.

This additional day allows you to venture deeper into the reserve and maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. Follow wildlife movements across the plains and search for elusive species such as leopards and cheetahs.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve and continue your safari experience throughout the afternoon.

Later, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about local customs, traditional dances, and the unique lifestyle of the Maasai people.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

Wake up early for a final game drive as the African wilderness comes alive with the morning sun.

Take advantage of the excellent lighting and active wildlife for memorable photographs and final sightings.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back to Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
