Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel, residence, or Entebbe International Airport early in the morning and brief you about the safari before departure. Begin the journey westward through Uganda’s beautiful countryside. Along the way, you will pass through small towns, traditional villages, tea plantations, and rolling hills that characterize the western region of the country.
A stop will be made at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe where you can take photographs, enjoy refreshments, and purchase souvenirs. Continue through Mbarara and proceed toward Queen Elizabeth National Park while enjoying views of Ankole cattle farms and scenic landscapes. Lunch will be served at a selected restaurant en route.
Arrive at the park in the afternoon and enjoy your first wildlife sightings as you enter the protected area. Animals such as Uganda kobs, warthogs, elephants, and buffaloes are commonly seen along the roads leading to the lodge. Check in and spend the evening relaxing while enjoying views of the surrounding wilderness.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The early morning hours offer excellent opportunities to spot lions returning from hunts, elephants feeding in the grasslands, buffaloes grazing in large herds, and antelopes roaming the open plains. The Kasenyi sector is also one of the best locations in Uganda for observing predators and large concentrations of Uganda kob.
Your guide will help identify wildlife and explain the ecology of the park while searching for various species.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, head to the Kazinga Channel jetty for a boat cruise along one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich waterways. The channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and attracts huge numbers of animals throughout the year.
During the cruise, you can expect to see large concentrations of hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, and numerous bird species along the shoreline. The boat trip provides exceptional opportunities for photography and close wildlife viewing.
Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala or Entebbe
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive within the park. This drive provides another opportunity to search for wildlife that may not have been seen on the previous day.
The cool morning temperatures often encourage animals to remain active, increasing the chances of excellent sightings before departure. After the game drive, return to the lodge, check out, and begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
Enjoy lunch along the way and take in the beautiful scenery of western Uganda during the drive. A brief stop may be made at the Equator crossing for refreshments and photographs before continuing toward your destination.
Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the late afternoon or evening, where your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel, residence, or Entebbe International Airport.
