4 Days Rwanda Safari Adventure

4 Days Rwanda Safari Adventure

This 4 Days Rwanda Safari Adventure is ideal for those with limited time but who want to go gorilla tracking and learn about Rwanda’s culture and history. Rwanda’s gorillas are the simplest to walk; excursions can last anything from one to six hours. If you have difficulty with longer hikes, simply speak with your guide and request an easy trekking group.

This 4-day safari begins and finishes in Kigali. Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and driven for 20 to 30 minutes to the hotel of your choosing for an overnight stay at Bed & Breakfast. The next day, after seeing Kigali, Africa’s fastest-growing and cleanest city, and learning about its culture and history. After lunch in Kigali, it will be time for a 2-hour trip to Rwanda’s famed Volcanoes National Park, which is home to habituated gorilla families. Before returning to Kigali, you will experience gorilla tracking, a community tour, and golden monkey tracking.

Unlike Uganda’s Bwindi Forest National Park, which is covered in tropical rainforest, Volcanoes National Park is covered in bamboo forest, and nothing rivals the pleasure of stalking these gentle giants on Virunga slopes. Tracking gorillas needs some physical condition for your safety on the hike; however, age is not an issue; we have previously hired persons as young as 90 years old and successfully tracked gorillas.

On your gorilla tracking day, after receiving a briefing from park officials, you will be assigned to tracking families in groups of no more than eight individuals. Finally, your long-awaited adventure is here; walk to the bush and enjoy the gorillas. When you eventually reach the gorillas, you will have one hour to spend with them before returning to the starting location and transferring to your resort for rest. You may also spend the evening touring the village to learn more about the people and culture of Rwanda.

On the last day of your stay at the volcanoes, you will go to the park for golden monkey tracking. There are two habituated Golden Monkey groups that may be followed on the slopes of Karisimbi and Mount Sabinyo, and Golden Monkey tracking, like gorilla tracking, begins at 07.00 am at Kinigi for briefing. After the hike, you will meet your guide for the return trip to Kigali.
