Where to stay: Find the best accommodations in stunning locations.
All In Africa Safaris headquarters are located in Uganda, allowing us to carefully choose the best lodging alternatives available in the nation. Regardless of the price of the lodgings, we prioritise providing a high level of service to ensure a comfortable stay. To deliver the ultimate Africa experience, we seek to partner with small-scale lodges in intimate settings and excellent locations wherever feasible.
Optimal travel season and year-round appeal.
Uganda is an excellent spot to visit all year round. The low season is regarded as being March to May and September to November, whereas the high season is June to August and December to February. In general, travellers are few during the low seasons, making it an intriguing time to explore. In addition, some lodges offer discounts during the off-season, which is ideal if you want to save money. High seasons are popular travel months, but Uganda is still a relatively unknown location, so there are rarely large crowds.
In terms of weather, it is considered that Uganda receives more rain in the low season and experiences more drought in the high season. In recent years, however, we have discovered that the seasons are no longer trustworthy since we get rainfall during the ‘dry season’ and dry spells during the ‘rainy season’. Uganda enjoys lots of sunshine throughout the year, regardless of the season. When travelling to higher altitudes, such as Bwindi Forest, be prepared for cold weather, especially overnight.
Permit availability.
It’s vital to note that gorilla tracking permits sell out rapidly throughout July and August. We recommend securing your permissions at least six months in advance.
