2025 Mgahinga Gorilla National Park entrance fees are the costs imposed on visitors by the Uganda Wildlife Authority, a government agency responsible for tourism, so they can enter the park and participate in its various activities. The smallest and most popular protected area is Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which is situated in the Kisoro district of southwest Uganda and shares borders with Rwanda and Congo.
The park was gazetted in 1991 primarily to conserve and protect the endangered mountain gorillas, and it now occupies 33.7 square kilometers. 2025 Mgahinga Gorilla National Park admission costs
The validity of a day’s park admission ticket at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is 24 hours from the time of entry; any additional time spent in the park beyond that time will be charged as an additional day. These fees are separate from those for package activities like bird watching, mountain climbing, and gorilla trekking. To verify their residency status, all visitors must show legitimate identification documents. Children between the ages of 5 and 15 are exempt, but those under the age of 5 are not.

The fee is 40 USD per person for non-resident foreigners, 30 USD for foreign residents, and 20,000 USD for East African nationals.
Kids
The fees for foreign non-residents are $20 USD per person, for foreign residents they are $10 USD per person, and for East African citizens they are 5,000 UGX per person.
The cost per individual for Ugandan students or students in a group is 3,000 UGX.
