The validity of a day’s park admission ticket at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is 24 hours from the time of entry; any additional time spent in the park beyond that time will be charged as an additional day. These fees are separate from those for package activities like bird watching, mountain climbing, and gorilla trekking. To verify their residency status, all visitors must show legitimate identification documents. Children between the ages of 5 and 15 are exempt, but those under the age of 5 are not.
