2 Days Gorilla trekking safari Rwanda

Overview

This 2-day Gorilla trekking safari Rwanda is ideal for those who want to track mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is located in the north of the nation. It is part of the larger Virunga Conservation Area, which includes Congo’s Virunga National Park and Mgahinga National Park.
The Volcanoes National Park was formerly much bigger, extending all the way to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. When the Democratic Republic of the Congo gained independence, the park lost some of its territory to the Virunga National Park in Congo.
