Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Arrival and picked up by your safari guide, drive southwest with a stop at the Equator to shoot landmarks before continuing to Mbarara. Stop for lunch in Mbarara Town before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to mountain gorillas. Arrival in Bwindi will be in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge as you relax and prepare for tomorrow’s unforgettable adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast, leave the lodge with a packed lunch and drive to the park headquarters which is the starting site for a briefing on gorilla trekking. You will be assigned gorilla tracking guides before embarking on your expedition.
The excitement of meeting face to face alleviates the pain of sometimes long and grueling journeys. Each experience is unique and rewarding, but you will most certainly enjoy the adults feeding, grooming, and sleeping while the children romp and swing from vines in a charmingly fun manner. After the tracking, head back to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After an early breakfast check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a drive through the Ishasha sector for a game drive where you may see tree-climbing lions as well as other animals such as elephants buffalo, hyenas, and so on.
After a picnic lunch, drive to the Mweya Peninsular and the park’s northern section for a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel home to hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along its banks. You’re likely to see grazing hippos, elephants, lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, bushbuck, waterbuck, stripped jackal, and, of course, warthogs.
After the boat adventure, you will drive to your lodge, check in, have a leisure dinner, and have an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive and departure.
Check out, have your morning breakfast, and go on a game drive in search of animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas, and others that live in the park. The game drive will provide opportunities to see wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and many more. After the drive, head to Kampala with your packed lunch. Arrival at either your preferred hotel or airport for your flight back home will occur in the evening marking the end of your safari.
