This 5-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro trip is designed for individuals interested in animal watching in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This trip includes wildlife drives, birdwatching, and community contacts. You will get opportunities to witness animals including leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, and black-maned lions

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Serengeti.

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the world’s most famous national park, the Serengeti. The drive itself, albeit long, is breathtaking, and as you go into the Serengeti, you will appreciate the boundless grasslands.

It is home to the Great Migration, 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and a variety of antelopes, including plentiful impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. In terms of big cats and huge predators, it’s the best site to seek for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television sequences, such as the renowned river crossings, recorded in this park.

Day 2: Explore Serengeti.

Today, you will spend the entire day at Serengeti National Park. Depending on your preferences, you may go on a morning game drive, then return to the lodge for lunch and leisure before continuing on an afternoon game drive, or you could go on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro.

Today, we recommend waking up early to go on an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and view one of the most spectacular sunrises you’ve ever seen. It’s truly one of the most beautiful sensations you can have.

Following the wildlife drive, we will return to the lodge for a satisfying lunch before continuing on to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the natural world. Depending on your arrival time, you can have an evening game drive.

Day 4: Explore Ngorongoro.

We will begin the day early and descend into the crater bottom for an unforgettable morning of wildlife in one of the most beautiful sites on Earth.

It is one of the few places in the continent where you may see a black rhinoceros. The concentration of African animals is the highest in the continent. The crater has a river, various marshes, a soda lake with a large number of flamingos, a forest, and open grasslands.

Day 5: Departure-Serengeti and Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through the genuine wonder of the natural world. The crater features the densest known population of lions, numbering around 62, as well as leopards, over 30 huge elephants, mountain reedbuck, and more than 4000 buffalos, spotted hyenas, jackals, uncommon wild dogs, cheetahs, and other felines.

Following the wildlife drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch by the picturesque Hippo Lake. After lunch, we will proceed for a brief game drive before ascending the crater and leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Arusha, where we will be dropped off at the airport or in Arusha.
