Visitors arriving by plane can reach Chobe Safari Lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. For those on a tight schedule or who prefer to forgo the lengthy road trip, flying to Chobe offers a far quicker and more convenient option. A chartered flight from Entebbe International Airport is available to guests who want to arrive at the retreat by air. Chobe airport, which is close to the property, is where planes land after an hour-long journey from Entebbe.

From Entebbe International Airport, visitors must drive 311 kilometers (about 4½ hours) to Chobe Safari Lodge along the Kampala-Gulu Highway. The majority of this trip is on a road with good tarmacked conditions. From Entebbe, the route travels southeast toward Gowers route, which links to the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway, which connects to the Northern Bypass Highway. After that, travelers can use the Kampala-Gulu Highway to take the ramp to Bombo Road, which ultimately brings them to Masindi.
Visitors can stop at Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Sanctuary on their way from Masindi. The only location in Uganda where tourists can witness rhinoceroses in the wild is the Rhino Sanctuary. In addition, the sanctuary provides guests with guided nature hikes, wildlife drives, and bird watching. The rhino refuge is about 113 kilometers—roughly a one to two-hour drive—from Chobe Lodge in Murchison Falls National Park.

As an alternative, guests can travel from Kampala City to the Lodge by road. The lodge is located on Fifth Street in the Kampala Industrial Area, 272 kilometers from the Marasa Central Reservations Office. The Northern Bypass is a considerably more convenient way to get to the resort from Kampala.
From the Kawempe roundabout, travelers should take the northern bypass north. Travelers can cross the Nile at Karuma Falls and continue 248 km on the tarmacked Gulu road. After crossing the bridge at Karuma, you will come to a marram road on your left, with a sign indicating “Chobe Safari Lodge” 14km further on. It takes roughly three and a half hours to get from Kawempe to Chobe Safari Lodge.
The Lodge can also be reached by way of Homia town, which is an alternate route. This is a significantly longer trek, though, taking roughly 6½ hours to travel 361 kilometers.
