Kidepo Valley National Park Entry Fees.

The cost of admission to Kidepo Valley National Park is per person per day and is what you pay to be able to participate in park activities. The Uganda Wildlife Authority, or “UWA,” is in charge of overseeing all of Uganda’s national parks and collects all payments. Among its many uses are the development of parks, conservation areas, and towns by constructing schools, hospitals, and infrastructure that includes piped water.

In actuality, Kiepo Valley National Park is a true safari game park that is home to a variety of wildlife species, including about 86 different kinds of mammals. It is also a birder’s delight, with over 500 different species of birds that you may see while on your game drive excursions. In order to preserve a large quantity of wildlife animals, the park was gazetted as a national park in 1962, making it a popular spot to see game.

Furthermore, it forecasts that it will take a driver from Kampala to reach the primary destination 510 kilometers in 10 or 11 hours. However, the best and most recommended course of action is to take a domestic flight called “Aero Link or Bar Aviation” and employ tour operators from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip to land in Lomej at “1:40 hours.”

Adults

The park entrance price is UGX20,000 for East African members, USD40 for foreign nonresidents, USD20 for children, USD30 for foreign residents, and USD10 for youngsters.

Park Entrance Fees Per Year

Annual park admission fees are USD 350 for a single foreign nonresident and UGX 350,000 for an East African member.

The annual park admission cost for a couple is USD 600 for foreign nonresidents and USD 500,000 for East African members.

East African members pay UGX600,000, while foreign residents with a family of no more than four children pay USD 800.

Take note:

Only foreign residents of Uganda and East African nationals are subject to annual park entrance fees, which are paid separately for vehicle entry into all protected areas.

Package activities including climbing, mountaineering, gorilla tracking, and chimp tracking are not eligible.

In order to qualify for an annual fee, foreign residents must have a work permit that is valid for a year.

A safari guide is a person that leads visitors through the wilderness by car, boat, canoe, horseback, or foot while sharing some of the amazing mysteries that are concealed inside the natural setting.

Parking fees for saloon cars, boats, and aircraft are USD 40 for those registered and UGX 20,000 for those registered in Uganda.

Parking fees for minibuses and Omnibuses in Kidepo Valley National Park are USD 50 for foreign-registered vehicles and UGX 30,000 for Ugandan-registered vehicles.

Depending on the vehicle classification, rescue vehicles will be billed at the same cost as regular vehicles.

Motorcycles, trailers, vehicles carrying flammable materials, cattle, vegetables, lumber, sand, and market goods are all forbidden in the park unless they are providing a service that has been authorized by the park and its reserves.

Construction equipment includes large trucks, roll loaders, graders, bulldozers, and bowsers, among other things.
