Day 1 Track Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park
The 1 Day short gorilla tour to Volcanoes national park Rwanda sets off by 5:00 am for a 2 hours drive from Kigali to volcanoes national park in Musanze.
Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes is a well managed conservation countrywide initiative for the mountain gorillas, with a set of rules set to protect the endangered species.

For your trekking adventure, your guides, porters and rangers go out of their way to make sure you have a memorable experience. You have to keep a distance of at least 20 feet away from the gorillas, but as gorillas are wild animals and very curious, they often go up-to the trackers enhancing the experience with the gorillas. Only 8 tourists can track a single gorilla family and visitors are advised to take porters to carry your backpacks as well as help you through tough spots on the hike.
You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas, and you return back to the starting point where you will meet your guide. Later have lunch and transfer back to Kigali for drop off at your hotel or airport.
