Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and begin the drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at a viewpoint for photographs and panoramic views of the valley below. Continue through Narok Town before arriving at the reserve in time for lunch.

After checking into your lodge and enjoying lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full day exploring the Masai Mara.

Drive across the endless plains searching for the reserve’s incredible wildlife. The Masai Mara supports large populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, and many other species.

Visit different sections of the reserve including areas along the Mara River, where dramatic wildlife action often occurs. During migration season, witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the river while avoiding crocodiles and predators.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with your afternoon game drive.

Return to the lodge in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

Wake up early for a final morning game drive when wildlife is most active.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
