Overview
The 4 Days Thrilling Uganda Wildlife Safari is an exciting adventure to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular savannah park and one of the best wildlife destinations in East Africa. This safari offers incredible opportunities to encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and hundreds of bird species while exploring diverse habitats that range from open savannah plains and crater lakes to wetlands and tropical forests.
The safari combines scenic drives through western Uganda, game drives in the wildlife-rich Kasenyi Plains, a memorable boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, and a visit to the famous Ishasha Sector in search of tree climbing lions.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Kampala or Entebbe and drive towards western Uganda. The journey takes you through scenic countryside, traditional villages, tea plantations, and rolling hills.
A stop will be made at the Equator for photographs and refreshments before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Arrive at the park in the afternoon and check into your lodge. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short evening game drive before returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the park.
Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, and numerous bird species. The open grasslands provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and game viewing.
After lunch, proceed for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and supports one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa.
During the cruise, expect to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of birds along the shoreline.

Day 3: Ishasha Game Drive and Tree Climbing Lions Search
After breakfast, drive to the southern Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare population of tree climbing lions.
Spend the day exploring the area while searching for lions resting in fig trees. You may also encounter elephants, buffaloes, topis, and other wildlife that inhabit the Ishasha plains.
Enjoy a packed lunch and continue with wildlife viewing before returning to the lodge in the evening.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Return to Entebbe or Kampala
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the park.
Begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en route. Enjoy the changing landscapes of western Uganda and make another stop at the Equator if desired.
Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
