The 8-day Uganda gorilla tour includes a visit to Bwindi Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest, and Lake Mburo National Park. Other interesting safari destination to visit include; Mgahinga National Park, Lake Bunyonyi, and Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

You will be picked up from the hotel or Upon arrival at the Entebbe international airport. He will brief you about the safari then start your drive to Kibale Forest National Park. enroute you will stop at the equator for photoshoot and then embark on your journey arriving in fort portal town where you will have your lunch. Continue to the park arriving in the afternoon.

Drive and check in to the lodge and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to the Kanyanchu Information Centre for a briefing that marks the beginning of your chimpanzee adventure. You will enjoy a full hour with the chimpanzees’ recording videos and taking photos of your choosing.

After the chimpanzee adventure, you will head back to the lodge, enjoy your lunch relax, check out of the lodge, and start your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is merely a two-hour trip through Kasese and reaching the lodge in the evening. Check-in, dinner, and an overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and an evening boat cruise.

Have your early morning breakfast and head into the forest in search for the for-wildlife species living in the park mornings offer rewarding game watching experience since this time, the animals are most active. Driving through the Kasenyi area will bring you close to the elephants, buffalos, warthogs, lions, cheetahs, antelopes, and plenty more species.

After the unforgettable game drive, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation before heading to your afternoon boat ride along the kazinga channel which will give you a more relaxed and thrilling approach to the wildlife species that reside within the waters and along the banks. After the boat adventure, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Enjoy your relaxed breakfast, pack your bags, check out of the lodge, and transfer to Bwindi Forest via the Ishasha sector. Leaving the park with an en-route game drive you will drive through with your eyes and mind focused on spotting the tree-climbing lions. Later, drive 2 hours to Buhoma check in at your lodge, have dinner, and have an overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking and a visit to the Batwa.

You will arrive at the park headquarters early in the morning after having your breakfast at your lodge, packed lunch in hand, for a briefing before going on the gorilla tracking adventure. Enjoying every bit of your one hour with the mountain gorillas you will drive back to the lodge and thereafter, check out of the lodge and transfer to lake Bunyonyi where you will g=have calm and peaceful night after along day gorilla trek.

Day 6: morning canoe boat and transfer to lake Mburo National Park

Rise up and have your breakfast, after you will go on a canoe boat in lake Bunyonyi, one of the exciting activities to do while here. You will visit several animals found here over 29 Islands each having its own historical belief. You will listen to the guides stories as he explains them to you. You will also encounter other attractions like the little birds as well as the locals going about their daily activities. After return to the lodge and check out and transfer to lake Mburo national park. one of the smallest but rich in wildlife among other attractions. You will arrive in Mbarara town where you will have your lunch and continue to Lake Mburo arriving late afternoon. Drive and check in to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat cruise

After breakfast, drive to the park for early morning game drive best time for game watching when the animals are active. While on the game drive, you will see several mammal species grazing on the savannah grass lands including the elephants, buffalos, giraffes, Zebras, impala, Uganda Kobs warthogs among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will go on boat cruise in lake Mburo for more game viewing where you will see the hippos, buffalos in the water and several other bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 8: Morning nature walk and Departure.

In the morning, you’ll go on a nature walk best way to explore the park and get up close and personal with the animals. After, you will exit the park and drive back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator for relaxation and where you will have your lunch. Continue to Kampala arriving in the afternoon. The guide will then drop you off at the Entebbe airport for your departure flight back home.
