Mityana is well known as the top-leading agricultural district in Uganda, growing cash crops such as sweet potatoes, beans, cassava, maize, bananas, groundnuts, onions, cabbage, and tomatoes. It is also one of the districts in Uganda with a lot of cultural experiences.
In this post, All In Africa Safaris introduces you to one of the most well-known cultural centres in Mityana, known as the Entanda Cultural Centre, which is one of the greatest places to visit when on a cultural adventure in Uganda.
Entanda, which means “overflow” in Kijjude, is located in the Mityana neighbourhood. Its around an hour’s drive from Kampala.
The place is a neighborhood-based vacationer drive with a credible visitor experience, and it has nurtured various energizing exercises that draw a large number of sightseers and guests.
It may also be a stop for tourists heading to the western part of Uganda, including Fort Portal, Kasese, and Hoima, among other places.
There are other Uganda safari activities to do, such as bark cloth making, traditional tree swinging, khoja and senga talks (Uncle and Aunt), and traditional weaving, but these are only a few of the most popular with visitors.
